What a night, and what a sight as a horse drawn carriage made its way through The Village on Halloween night!

The Social Committee would like to extend a big thank you to Sentineal Carriages for their generosity in providing complimentary rides to the kids- and big kids- of The Village. Max the Horse - along with Mike and Courtney, Max’s two-person “entourage” - made Halloween extra special this year!

But of course, the goal of the night was to collect donations for Newark Neighbours. We had an impressive haul, including a $100 cash donation, so thank you to everyone who gave. Newark Neighbours Board Chair Cindy Grant says, sadly, the food bank is getting a new family everyday who needs their help, so she was grateful for our neighbourhood’s contribution.
